WHERE CAN WE PARK?
We have a small number of parking spaces available outside the front of the studio we like to keep free for our disabled customers and parents with young children and babies. Don’t worry if your car is blocking anyone in, everyone leaves at the same time! So pull up nice and close for us and we can get as many cars on as possible.
We also have free parking down the road at our sister company ‘On The Common’ (opposite the Wimpy). If both of these are full, just around the corner from On the Common is our friends at The Viceroy. They have a large carpark you are able to park on (just opposite the big field) and is only a couple minute walk to the PP studio.
How much does it cost?
The price really depends person to person.
Everyone who paints will pay a £5.00 studio charge, plus the price of the piece of pottery you decide to paint. Our pottery starts from £4.95 all the way up to £40.95.
For example our mugs cost £14.95, plus the studio charge of £5.00.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Our sessions run for two hours, 9:30am-11:30am, 11:45am-1:45pm and 2:00pm-4:00pm. We are back to back so unfortunately are unable to seat you early or have your session run later.
We find that 2 hours is plenty of time to pick and paint your pieces but anything not finished, you’re welcome to book in another session to finish your piece a different day!
DO YOU NEED TO BOOK?
Yes, its very important that you book in so we can make sure there is enough tables available for you and your group.
We also need at least a weeks notice on any afternoon tea bookings!
DO YOU OFFER GIFT VOUCHERS?
Yes, we offer gift vouchers for pottery painting, afternoon tea or for both. Available to purchase in store or online!
Do you cater for large parties?
Absolutely!
We have two different rooms available for larger parties and groups! We can cater for up to 24 people for either pottery painting, afternoon teas or both at the same time!

do you do any evening sessions?
Yes! We do both afternoon school sessions and adult evenings. Ours after school sessions run 4:30pm-6:30pm every Monday.
We also run adult only evenings on the first Thursday and last Tuesday of every month, 6pm-8pm.

I have a buy a gift/red letter days voucher, how do i book this in?
All Buy a Gift or Red Letter days afternoon tea experiences need to be booked over the phone, give us a call on 01785660310 and one of the girls will get that booked in for you.
We only run Buy a Gift and Red Letter Days experiences Tuesday-Fridays. If you want to use this voucher on the weekend there is a surcharge of £20.11.
Voucher codes must be brought with you on the day or afternoon teas will need to be payed for.
DO YOU DO SCHOOL/CORPORATE VISITS?
Absolutely! Depending on the size we have a couple different options for your visit. Call us on 01785660310 to discuss your requirements. We have had many school and work groups joining at Pretty Pots and they always a great time!
Do you do handprints and personalisation?
We do! Just pop in the notes section when booking that you are wanting to do handprints and we can make sure one of the girls is available to help with this!
How do I book the Festive Afternoon Tea?
Our Festive Afternoon Tea is, if we may say so ourselves, awesome! It runs from November 1st – December 22nd every year. All you need to do is book ‘Afternoon Tea and Pottery Painting’ when booking and we will automatically change this to the Festive Afternoon Tea during this period.
