We are a team of close friends and family that give Pretty Pots an atmosphere like no other.
Our chilled vibe is the perfect backdrop to encourage everyone, from the youngest in your group to the oldest to find their inner artist or learn a new skill.
Our first studio opened in 2017 in the beautiful village of Milford, Staffordshire right on the border of Cannock Chase and down the road from Shugborough (Or The Wimpy, whichever historical venue interest you more!) With a cosy feel and Insta worthy looks our aim has always been to give our customers the very best memories and moments, and with this we have grown to be much more than just a pottery painting studio. We are passionate about the beautiful local area were we live and are proud to use local suppliers and craftspeople for our coffee, homemade cakes and workshops.
Our Second Store situated at the McArthurGlen West Midlands Designer Village in Cannock opened in July 2025 which marked a huge moment in our journey and one we are incredibly proud of. Since we have opened we have welcomed thousands of customers through the door and whilst our gorgeous studio certainly ticks all the aesthetic boxes our core principle of giving our customers the best Pretty Pots experience remains the same. Being situated on the outlet, it’s the perfect place to enjoy some me time! Pottery and shopping? Just call it the best day out.

For those of you who don’t know, Janny (Soph’s mum) also used to teach Pottery Painting when Soph was a tot and so having grown up around it, there’s always been a love and a knowledge for the pottery process.
Pretty Pots was opened in Penkridge, but the demand was such that very quickly a bigger premises was required and so Pretty Pots Ceramic Café was born. The interior Design of our café and every single element in here has been conjured up through Sophie’s desires and dreams for the place.

Seen any of our posts lately? Well they’ll have been posted by Lauren! From the beginning Lauren has been on hand to build the Pretty Pots brand and make sure that people can keep up to date with whats new and going on. Pretty Pots wouldn’t be Pretty Pots without our Lauren!
It also helps that Sophie and Lauren have been best friends since they were kids, so always know what the other is thinking, pretty much before the other one does! They’re two sides of the same coin.

With over 25 years of experience Janny is the one on hand to teach all the best tricks and techniques when it comes to pottery painting! She knows it all! Lots of our incredible display pieces around the shop have been painted by Janice so you know you’re getting the very best advice and knowledge from her.
Janice can often be found at our ladies evenings, or popping in during session times with crib sheets, project tips and at Christmas time maybe even a little glitter, to take your pieces to the next level!

Chloe is our very own creative genius, whether it is a wall mural or a reel, she has us covered. She helps Lauren (our social media dream team) with the Pretty Pots socials, from hilarious tik-toks to pretty Instagram videos.
She runs our day to day studio and our in house kiln technician, making sure your pottery is out on time and looking perfect!
